Canyon Lake Swears was started out of sheer frustration. I try my best to support local Canyon Lake businesses first before looking elsewhere. I came home to find a flyer for a pest control company on my door and assumed it was a Canyon Lake owned business. I gave them a call and the technician said he lived in the lake and wanted to be my "Bug Guy." After chatting with him for 15 minutes it became apparent this guy did not live in Canyon Lake and was from San Diego trying to poach Canyon Lake residents.

The only resource I could find for our community to support one another was on Facebook in a Canyon Lake Recommendations page and I noticed the same thing over and over -- we all want to hire local and we are often looking for the same recommendations.

So I am creating an easy to use platform for our community to use to find local talent. Right now, I am building my internal database of local businesses who want to be featured on the website, as interest grows and my list of businesses gets bigger, I will launch the site.
